What do I do if my child is ill?

You should contact school before 8.50am to explain the reason for your child’s absence (0118 9787173).

If your child is ill he/she should stay at home.  A child should not be returned until 48 hours after a bout of sickness AND diahorrea (where both are present) .

A child who is unwell does not gain anything from being in school and may pass on his/her illness to the rest of the class (including the teacher!)

Sometimes a child who appears unwell first thing brightens up during the day – if this happens then bring him/her to school as soon as he/she is feeling better.

How can I arrange to see my child's teacher?

Please contact the school office and an appointment can be arranged.

How much does a school meal cost?

For children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, meals are free.  For children in Year 3 upwards they

cost £2.53 per meal.  Find out more on our 'school meals' page.

What is the school uniform?

We encourage all our pupils to dress smartly in our school colours of royal blue school sweatshirt or

school cardigan, white polo shirt or blouse and grey trousers, skirt or tunic, with sturdy, black shoes.   In summer, girls are able to wear a royal blue and white summer dress.  Certain items of uniform, bearing the school logo, including PE kit of t-shirt and shorts, are available to order from the school office.  In the interests of safety, jewellery is limited to small studs only for children with pierced ears.
